  • How do I know if my child needs speech-language therapy?
We offer free consultation calls. During the consult, we will discuss your observations and determine whether an evaluation and therapy might be needed. We are happy to answer your questions and guide you on what is best for your child.
  • Do I need a referral to start speech therapy?
You don't need a doctor's referral to begin speech therapy. However, it's a good idea to consult your insurance provider to determine if a referral is required for reimbursement if you are submitting a superbill.
  • Do you accept insurance?
At the moment, Crecemos Therapy Services does not accept insurance. We operate as an out-of-network provider and accept private pay clients. If needed, we can issue a superbill detailing your services, which you can submit to your insurance company to seek out-of-network benefits. Payment is due at the time of service.
  • How can I pay for the services?
Payment for services is due on the day of the session. We accept credit and debit card payments. Clients are kindly requested to keep a credit card on file, which will be charged in accordance with our fee and attendance policy. We are also happy to announce that Crecemos Therapy is a Step Up for Students provider and is now accepting the Family Empowerment Scholarship for Students with Unique Abilities (FES-UA). For information about our rates, please reach out to us.
  • Is an evaluation required to start therapy?
Yes, an initial evaluation is required to start therapy unless your child has been evaluated by a Speech-Language Pathologist within the past six months.
  • Where will speech therapy services be provided?
Crecemos Therapy offers sessions at home, in daycare, or at preschool. This flexibility helps children focus on their goals in a familiar environment.
  • How long are the speech-language therapy sessions?
The duration of the therapy will depend on your child's unique needs. Typically, sessions last between 30 and 60 minutes. We determine the frequency and duration of the therapy after completing the initial evaluation.
  • Do you have a waiting list?
We don’t have a waiting list! Reach out to us, and we’ll be happy to start the process and meet your child.
