Meet Your Therapist
āāZayra is a certified bilingual speech-language therapist with over a decade of experience working with the pediatric population in English and Spanish. She received her Master of Science Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Carlos Albizu University in San Juan, P.R. Her professional experience includes a wide range of conditions, including work with medically complex children to those with Autism, ADHD, feeding difficulties, learning disabilities, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and emotional disturbances, among others. Zayra created Crecemos Therapy Services to fulfill her mission of providing individualized, compassionate, and neuroaffirming care to children and their families.ā

Speech Therapy

Gestalt Language Procesors
Does your child communicate with echolalia? Children who communicate with chunks of words or strings (such as repetitions of questions, phrases they may have heard from media or from others) are referred to as Gestalt Language Processors. At Crecemos, we use the Natural Language Acquisition approach to help your child produce self-generated language.
Parent Coaching
Do you have questions or need guidance to help your child improve their communication skills? Contact us for a consultation, and we will provide you with strategies to support your child's communication development.
Getting started
Consultation
Contact us to set up a free 15-minute consultation where you can discuss your concerns. Our owner and Speech-Language Pathologist, will answer questions, discuss our services, and determine if an evaluation is recommended for your child. If we proceed, an initial intake packet will be provided.

Evaluation
Your child will participate in a Speech and Language evaluation. We will determine areas of strength and need through in-depth testing. You will receive a report that includes goals and recommendations.
Treatment
Your child will begin speech therapy. Our sessions are one-on-one, engaging, child-led, and play-based. Therapies will be provided in the comfort of your home, your child's preschool, or daycare.
